
Thomas Russell – Solicitor
Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts with First Class Honours from the University of Sydney and a Juris Doctor from the University of New South Wales.
He represents clients in a broad range of criminal law and Apprehended Violence Order (AVO) proceedings in the Local Court and District Court. Tom regularly appears before the courts in Dubbo and Orange and has extensive experience representing clients throughout rural and regional New South Wales.
Through years of working in high-volume rural and regional criminal law practices, Tom has developed substantial courtroom experience and a strong understanding of the practical and personal challenges faced by people involved in the criminal justice system.
Tom specialises in serious and complex criminal matters requiring careful preparation, sound legal strategy and close attention to detail. His experience includes managing matters from the initial advice and investigation stages through to negotiations, defended hearings, sentencing proceedings and trials.
Regardless of the nature or seriousness of the charge, Tom approaches every case with the same level of care and commitment. He understands that any criminal charge or AVO proceeding can have significant consequences for a client’s family, employment, reputation and future.
